Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy (19 November 1975) is a Canadian singer and actor. Her roles on American TV shows such as Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her lead character. She has also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted and also in the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class which is the latter of which she also co-wrote and directed. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was a salesman and marketing executive. It required frequent travel which resulted in numerous family moves. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mom and secretary, died in the year 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother from Kitchener (Ontario) was involved in the raising of her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother, as well as Jacqueline is a twin sister. Jacqueline is a journalist and host on an upcoming Canadian television show. Hennessy is a mix of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian origins on her father's side, and most Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School. Grand River Collegiate Institute was where she graduated. She used to busk in the subway system of Toronto. Hennessy, her sister and her first performance was as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's actress, says she was nominated for Dana Scully, The X-Files role. She also appeared on 1988's Dead Ringers as twin call girls. Dick Wolf signed Hennessy in 1993 as Claire Kincaid, an assistant district attorney, in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons before leaving the show in 1996.
